Hong Kong Classic Itinerary

When visiting Hong Kong for the first time, what attractions should I visit? If you are staying in Hong Kong for 2-3 days, it is recommended that you follow the itinerary below.

Classic 5-Day Tour


Day 1: Avenue of Stars – Art Museum – Space Museum – Victoria Harbour – Harbour City

During the day, visit the Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui and nearby attractions like the Hong Kong Art Museum and Space Museum. At 8:00 PM, enjoy the “Symphony of Lights” show at Victoria Harbour. Later, shop and dine at the famous Harbour City mall.


Day 2: Ocean Park – Aberdeen Typhoon Shelter

Start early at Ocean Park, spending the day enjoying attractions and the must-see dolphin show. Later, head to Jumbo Kingdom at Aberdeen Typhoon Shelter to enjoy the sea breeze and fresh seafood.


Day 3: Disneyland

Dedicate the day to Disneyland. Use the FastPass and plan your route carefully to experience most rides. Stay until the 8:30 PM fireworks show for a magical ending. Consider staying at one of the three Disneyland hotels for convenience.


Day 4: Central – Mid-Levels Escalator – Victoria Peak – Madame Tussauds – Peak Tower – Lan Kwai Fong

Experience the Mid-Levels Escalator in Central, enjoy shopping, and take the tram from Garden Road to Victoria Peak. Visit Madame Tussauds, explore the Peak Tower, and enjoy a panoramic view of Victoria Harbour. After dinner, take the tram back and head to Lan Kwai Fong for a drink.


Day 5: Causeway Bay – Happy Valley – Yau Ma Tei, Mong Kok, and Temple Street

Enjoy shopping in Causeway Bay before heading to the Racing Museum and the Happy Valley Racecourse to experience Hong Kong’s famous horse racing culture. In the evening, take the MTR to explore Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Mong Kok. End the day with street food and nightlife at Temple Street.
