Disneyland currently has 8 theme areas: Adventure World, New Orleans Square, Folding Animal World, Borderland, Mickey Cartoon City, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, and American Street. It is recommended that you start at the Adventure World on the left-hand side of the park and explore the following must-do activities and areas clockwise.
1. Indian Jones Adventure in the World of Adventure
As soon as you enter Disneyland, you will find Adventureland on your left. Here, you'll see a meandering river running through the entire theme area, and the banks of the river show a scene of the African jungle, a paradise full of wildness! We recommend you to check out the popular "Indiana Jones Adventure" in this theme area. Like the explorers in a Hollywood blockbuster, ride a chariot into an ancient temple to search for treasures, constantly spraying smoke to disperse, full of magical charm, and realistic light and shadow special effects will make you addicted! There is also a newly opened "Tarzan′s Treehouse" in this area, which is exactly the same as the house built by Tarzan's parents in the movie, which is worth seeing.
2. Animal World Splash Mountain through the cave
After your Indian adventure, walk further through New Orleans Square, the Critter Country themed area, where you'll find a must-do attraction called Splash Mountain. Just by the name, you know it's going to be a tall and wet project! It's a screaming pristine mountain, led by a log boat, winding through indoor and outdoor watersheds, and finally rushing down from a waterfall at 90 degrees to create a five-layer splash that brings the tension to the highest point! Reminder, if you don't want to be completely wet, try to sit in the back of the boat~
Of course, there is a warm side to this project before the boat falls. You'll enjoy the animal characters from Disney's animated films in the cave, and experience the colorful animal kingdom to the sound of music.
3. Frontier World takes the Big Thunderbolt Train
On the other side of Splash Mountain, you see a themed area with red rock accumulation, welcome to Frontierland! It's like a time in time to the early days of western reclamation in the United States, and each project has a pioneering spirit of early immigrants. One of the most popular is the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad! You'll ride on a minecart-like roller coaster that rumbles through a riverbed of red stones, carrying you through dinosaur ribs and avalanche-like boulders rolling in behind you! Woo woo~~~ The train driver is about to set off, all passengers sit tight!
4. Fantasy World: Step into Sleeping Beauty Castle
Further east in the borderlands, you'll see Disney's iconic castle! Congratulations, you've arrived at Disney's remarkable area, the fantasy world of Fatasyland. This is a fairytale place, and the "Sleeping Beauty Castle" towering in the middle is a must-visit for adults and children! If you don't come here to check in, are you embarrassed to say that you have been to Disney? Here, you can take photos with Disney princesses, and the wonderful murals will help you relive classic Disney stories. In the vicinity, you can also encounter interesting interactive experiences. For example, jump into a minecart and follow the Black Forest Road that Snow White walked, and meet the seven dwarfs for a wonderful adventure; Walk down the magical rabbit hole and spin along with dazzling colors and crazy music for an Alice's sleepwalking!
5. Main Street U.S.A. Parade
To the east of Sleeping Beauty Castle is Main Street, the park's main street, where around 4:30 p.m. there is a grand parade of Disney's Soundsational Parade, where household names of Disney stars will dance to the song and dance on gorgeous floats. The streets are crowded with people, and it's not an exaggeration, you have to jump to see the whole picture! If you want to have a roadside viewing spot in the middle of the crowds, it's best to stay here half an hour early. Of course, this American street, which was built in imitation of the American landscape more than 100 years ago, in addition to the parade of floats, there will be some small singing and dancing, band performances, and there are many service facilities, shops and restaurants, which is the main functional street in Disney.
6. Space exploration in Tomorrowland
The "Tomorrowland" themed area is just across the American street from Sleeping Beauty Castle. It is a whimsical futuristic city built according to Walt Disney's vision of the future during his lifetime. I have to say that Old Man Walt's imagination is too good, and a Mickey Mouse inspiration can give birth to a world-class paradise; This futuristic theme area, based on bold imagination, is full of shock and technology. You'll ride the high-speed Space Moutain in a futuristic world, and then flip around like you're in a 3D movie. Another popular project, Star Tours, takes you directly to the movie "Star Wars" to experience the cosmic air battles that can only be found in science fiction movies! And that's not all, the "Tomorrowland" theme zone also features a roller coaster roaring through the deep universe, and each seat has a new computer-controlled sound effect, allowing you to experience the wonderful experience of traveling through the clouds!
7. Mickey Cartoon City Visit Mickey and Minnie's home
In stark contrast to the exciting, adventurous world of tomorrow is the warm, childlike Mickey's Toontown! This miniature town on the north side of the park is home to Mickey Mouse and all his best friends. All the buildings in Mickey Mouse Cartoon City are colorful and bold, and it is a miniature version of the city, with city halls, squares, factories, post offices, trams, and cartoon characters. If you come to Disney with your children, this "miniature city" full of friendship and childlike innocence is definitely not to be missed! Come inside and visit Mickey and Minnie's home, activate your inner fairy tale dream, and take cute and loving photos!
8. A grand fireworks display every night
Along with the parade, the "Fireworks" is Disney's most important curtain call every night. Every night around 9:30 p.m., this spectacular show will take place in the Fantasyland themed area. Set against the backdrop of Sleeping Beauty Castle, the spectacular fireworks and classic Disney animations on the castle walls collide to create a breathtaking light and shadow experience. If you want to leave no regrets, we recommend that you finish the tour half an hour before the start of the show, find a good vantage point opposite the castle, and wait for the spectacular fireworks display to take place.
