Kilauea Volcano
Kilauea volcano (Kīlauea), located in Hawaii, is by far the most visited and active volcano in the world. Lava can be seen engulfing the earth or pooling into the ocean.
How to play
There are four ways to see the volcano: by car, on foot, by boat and by airplane (helicopter or small biplane).
1. Visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park by car. The park is open 24 hours a day, and the visitor center is open from 7:45-17:00 p.m. Admission is $10 per vehicle and is valid for seven days.
It is recommended that you visit the Jaggar Museum in the park after dark to see the fires in the caldera in the distance:
2. Hiking is the only way to see the lava up close.
There are several routes of varying difficulty to choose from: moderately difficult (Kilauea Iki Trail and Crater Rim Trail, about 5 kilometers round trip) and more difficult (Kilauea Craters Trail, about 13 kilometers round trip). It is recommended to follow a tour or hire a guide, just find a reputable one on tripadvisor; the cost is between 100-250 USD.
3, the advantage of the boat tour is that you can drive to Kamukona in the previous map to see the lava into the sea (it is said that starting in November 2017, this sight can no longer be seen, please check the official website to confirm before you move): from 4:30 am to 7:30 pm there are several boat trips, the price of 180-250 U.S. dollars; the most expensive in the early hours of the morning and when it is dark, this is the best time to see the scenery.
4, airplanes are the only way to reach the crater, overlooking the volcano in the crater is bound to be super shocking. It costs between US$250-400.
