Standing under the mutilated, mottled blue-gray ancient city walls, a sense of the heaviness and vicissitudes of history will arise spontaneously.
At the end of February, the vegetation in Beijing has not yet returned to green, but a few early plum trees are quietly blooming by the Ming city wall. The plum is broken and knows that spring is near, and the faint fragrance of plum blossoms indicates that spring returns to the earth.

The willows are still in place, the spring breeze is intoxicating, the peach blossoms are in full bloom, or red or white, and the lake is blue, which contrasts with each other. It is impossible to tell whether the peach blossoms are in the painting or in the peach blossoms.
Behind the hall of the Leshou Hall in the Summer Palace, there is a purple magnolia that grows in clusters; There is a white magnolia tree on the south side of the east gate of the promenade, they are the two oldest magnolia trees in the park, which were planted by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty when he built the Qingyi Garden (the predecessor of the Summer Palace), which has been more than 200 years ago. As early as before the construction of Le Shou Tang, there was a magnolia garden, there were purple and white magnolias, called "Jade Xianghai", and later most of the magnolias were burned down by the British and French troops who invaded Beijing, but these two purple and white magnolias survived the catastrophe, which are the relics of the year.
